When Sexual Pleasure Becomes Poisonous

 

The Almighty God made everything well and good, and sex is not an exception. YAHWEH has made sex to serve good and honourable purposes, which can only find expression in the marriage institution (a man and a woman). And so, His Will is that all forms of sexual pleasure should be shared only between a married man and his wife in the safe confines of a marriage union, with no other party involved. When we adhere to this, sexual pleasure becomes excellent and divine.

But the evil devil is always in the business of perverting the pleasant things created by God. The devil perverted sex, prompting ignorant and weak humans to go contrary to God's Will and engage in sexual sins - including premarital sex, extramarital sex, pornography and masturbation, homosexuality, and other dirty sexual acts. Unfortunately, these sorts of sexual pleasure are poisoning, harmful, and deadly. Pleasure gotten from sexual immorality will always wreck serious havoc to your spirit, soul and body.

You know, many out there today thinks they are "enjoying life" by doing those sinful things. When people say they are enjoying life or they want to enjoy life, what they should be asked is, "do you really know life?". Answer this: "What is life?" Well, the Bible helped us already:

"Jesus said..:"I am the way, the truth and the LIFE" John 14:6

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ), that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal LIFE" - John 3:16

"In Him (Jesus Christ) was LIFE, and the LIFE was the light of men" John 1:4

Jesus Christ is Life. It is only when we embrace Jesus in spirit and in truth that we can experience what it means to enjoy Life. As we submit to the Lordship of Christ, God infused us with eternal life, the God-kind of life, which helps us live life the way He wants - running our race through time via an intimate eternal relationship with Him through Jesus Christ, and being empowered to have dominion over creation.

There is no enjoyment in sinful pleasure, as they are really poisonous to your entire self. Rather, you enjoy life as you live life dominating creation in accordance to the Will of God - even living above negative things like sin, satan, hell, sickness, poverty, curses, evil principalities and powers, etc.

Enjoying life is not being held bound by dirty and dangerous addictions (like alcoholism, illicit sex, pornography, drugs, etc). Enjoying life can be a reality only when we live in accordance with the precepts of God, embracing the life He has given through Jesus Christ our LORD. God gives us His own Self, peace, prosperity, health, family, joy of the Holy Ghost, etc.

Do you want to enjoy the Life of God? Then you should embrace Jesus Christ immediately and forsake your sins. Simply say, "LORD JESUS, please have mercy on me and come reign in my life as my Lord and Savior." Amen.

You will be empowered by the Holy Ghost to do away with sexual immorality and other kinds of sinful stuff! I will advise that you get yourself a Bible and meditate upon the Word of God regularly. Fellowship with God in prayers and fasting, and join yourself to a Bible believing church around.

Welcome to the Kingdom of God where we enjoy life indeed. Here, we live above sinful pleasure, as we have victory over the flesh, given by Christ Jesus. Jesus loves you!
